Former Beckjord Power Station

New Richmond Development Corporation (NRDC) is a subsidiary of Commerical Liability Partners, based in St. Louis ,MO, owns the former Duke Beckjord Station site in New Richmond, Ohio.

Since closing in February of 2018, NRDC has worked closely with the Ohio EPA to remediate the site and demolish the power plant. Demolition is slated to be completed in April of 2021 with redevelopment following immediately. All ash impoundments and landfills are being clean closed or capped under the guidance of the Ohio EPA and DNR. Great progress has been made with final completion tentatively scheduled for the end of 2023.
