North Haven, Connecticut Former Otis Spunkmeyer site

CLP acquired the former Otis Spunkmeyer site to demolish the 60,000 sq. ft. facility, remediate the 7-acre site, and prepare it for new development.

The Project:

CLP purchased the former Otis Spunkmeyer site in North Haven, Connecticut in 2015 – a 72,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility (60,000 sq. ft. under roof) on 7 acres of prime retail land.

Our Role:

  • Demolished and abated the 60,000 sq. ft. facility, including foundations
  • Remediation of soil and groundwater completed using chemical oxidation
  • Final CDEEP closure expected in Spring of 2019

What’s Next:

Land is currently under contract to be redeveloped for new hotel.
